Methods & Tools

I approach UX research as a decision-making tool, not a checklist of methods. My focus is on helping teams reduce uncertainty and move forward with clarity. I select research approaches based on the product stage, level of ambiguity, and the specific decisions teams need to make, ensuring that research efforts are purposeful, timely, and impactful.

To do this, I apply a mixed-methods research approach, balancing qualitative depth with quantitative confidence. Depending on the problem space, I use usability testing, user and stakeholder interviews, surveys, journey mapping, and participatory workshops to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and inform design and product strategy. Each method is chosen intentionally—always in service of answering the research question at hand and supporting meaningful product decisions.

I use tools as enablers for insight and collaboration, tailoring outputs to designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
